Our client, headquartered in the Southeast, is a private equity-backed provider of maintenance and installation services to wireless carriers and tower operators. After searching on their own for close to a year, they retained Normandy to identify, contact, and qualify appropriate add-on acquisition targets. The client sought to expand their service offerings in a specific region of the Midwest where they had an existing customer relationship.
We sourced and screened 200 companies narrowing the list of top prospects down to 52. We contacted the owners to learn more about their company, discuss our client’s backstory and objectives, and then summarized our findings in a report for our client.
Despite focusing on a relatively narrow geographic region, Normandy was able to quickly identify an active prospect that met our client’s criteria, leading to a finalized LOI within 4 months from the start of our search.
